Becoming a great leader a person can be any shape, size race, gender, creed, political view, level of education, or physical features. An example of the different kind of leaders can be displayed at a typical playground. It does not take long to see who is the leader, the follower or the one sitting on the sidelines. The lessons learned from childhood playground experience follow into adulthood. Learning to be a leader comes from earlier developments but it does not have to be that way in your life as an adult.

There are many elements of a great leader. Characteristics of a great leader include having a clear vision of the goal to achieve, ability to create a plan to reach the goal, and being able to persuade others to accompany them on the voyage of reaching the goal. With these qualities, a great leader can obtain any goal with a team following faithfully behind them.

It means allowing others to express fears, thoughts, or concerns. Listening to others also makes the person speaking feel they are important or valued. Once they have expressed themselves, the person is likely to follow the leader due to receiving the respect from being heard.

Leaders have so many qualities don't they? Some people have leadership qualities when they first start out in business, and others just don't seem to have many at all. I noticed that few people actually gain leadership skills if they don't really want to. For example, someone who is afraid of doing things on the internet, and they just keep being scared, and never actually do anything. How does that kind of person get over their fear? Perhaps they don't want to?

I like your idea of joining twitter and facebook, and participating. It's important to lead with something on those communities, rather than just follow. That's when things really take off!
